The Hunter has recorded another 11 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the regions total to 250 since August 5.
The new cases are across four local government areas including Port Stephens, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and Dungog.
Broken down by suburb the new cases are in Wyee Point (4), Swansea Heads (1), Salamander Bay (1), Shoal Bay (1), Nelson Bay (1), Shortland (1), Tarro (1) and Dungog (1).
Five of the new cases were infectious in the community involving two of the Wyee Point cases, and the Salamander Bay, Shortland and Dungog cases.
Hunter New England Health says across the district there are 123 active cases, 529 close contacts in isolation and nine people in hospital, including one in ICU.
Statewide, NSW recorded 1480 new cases and a further nine deaths.
Anyone who attended the following venues at the specified dates and times is considered a casual contact and must get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
