Vineyard Grove Playground has been closed after it was attacked by vandals on Sunday.
Vandals have torn the shade structure in half and ripped up the rubber safety surface.
Council says temporary fencing has gone up around the playground while repairs are made.
The damaged shade structure has been removed and is expected to take a while to repair, however council will reopen the playground after the rubber is repaired next week.
