In promotion of Op Shop Week, the Mayfield Saint Vincent de Paul Society is presenting a Spring and Vintage Fashion Parade.
The parade, taking place on Saturday, October 6 at 4 Church Street Mayfield from 2 pm to 5 pm, will be a celebration of vintage fashion, supporting charity and the environmental benefits of recycling.
Locals in the hunt for a bargain are encouraged to take part in the event, with Vinnies asking shoppers to help mark the event by sharing their outfits with #NationalOpShopWeek on social media.
Those in attendance also have the opportunity to win a 12-month subscription to Instyle and Marie Claire magazine.
A gold coin donation is greatly appreciated for the charity, as all proceeds from sales go to helping people experiencing disadvantage in the local area.
