A man is due to front court today after leading police on a foot pursuit at Broadmeadow.
Officers were called to a store on Lambton Road yesterday afternoon following reports a stolen motorcycle was seen on the premises.
Shortly after they arrived they noticed a man running away and took off after him.
The 26-year-old was found in a garage on Russell Road at New Lambton where he was arrested.
He's been charged with driving a conveyance without consent of the owner, displaying a false number plate, unlicensed driving and domestic violence offences.
