A man is facing Maitland Court today on a raft of charges following a police pursuit through Kurri Kurri yesterday afternoon.
Police say they stopped a car allegedly speeding through the intersection of Northcote and Colliery streets at Aberdare around 3:30 yesterday afternoon.
Officers spoke to a 19-year-old woman driving, but while they were talking to her outside the vehicle, it's alleged a male passenger jumped behind the wheel and lead police on a pursuit.
He was eventually arrested following a foot chase through Kurri Kurri, where it's also alleged officers found drugs on his person.
