Management at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre say next week's Netball Test between Australia and England will be definitely going ahead despite Saturday's National Basketball League trial game being cancelled.
Condensation on the temporary court made play between the Sydney Kings, featuring Andrew Bogut, and the Illawarra Hawks impossible, meaning refunds had to be handed out to the 3,000-strong crowd.
It's since emerged the Entertainment Centre didn't have the appropriate floor cleaning equipment to deal with the problem.
The incident has prompted calls for the state government to get on with delivering the Hunter Sports and Entertainment Precinct.
