A 17-year-old will face court today after allegedly robbing a taxi driver with a tomahawk at Salamander Bay.
It's alleged the teen got into a taxi in the early hours of this morning, threatening the 70-year-old driver with the tomahawk before fleeing with a sum of cash.
Port Stephens police were able to locate the youth around two hours later and arrested him.
