A 37 year-old Tamworth man will face Newcastle Local Court today after being charged with a string of offences in the Newcastle area.
In the last month, the man is alleged to have committed armed robberies with an offensive weapon in a Raymond Terrace insurance company, an Adamstown news agency, and corner store in Tamworth.
He was refused bail, with police searches for an accomplice continuing.
