Investigations are continuing into the death of a woman at Branxton.
Police were called to a home in Dalwood Road at about 11.30 yesterday morning amid concerns for the welfare of a man and woman living there.
Officers found the 28-year-old woman deceased and the man in his 70's seriously ill.
