Gateshead fire under control
A bush fire in the area of Dudley and Redhead remains a Watch and Act alert as strong south-east winds impact the blaze.
More than 40 firefighters are on the scene, back burning is being carried out to contain the western side of the blaze.
Both Redhead and Oakdale roads remain closed, as well as the Fernleigh Track.
