Thieves target Lifeline premises with wave of break ins.

Today a fourth robbery to the Lifeline offices in Newcastle west added salt to the wounds of the charity having already been subjected to 6 previous robberies at outlets across Newcastle since Saturday.

The thieves made off with Cameras, Laptops, and cash while also vandalising the Lifeline premises totalling damages of over $10,000.

Police believe the charity is being targeted because it is perceived as an easy target to the thieves despite security systems being present at all of its centres.

Despite the devastating effect of these break ins, Lifeline services will run as normal.
