Shadow Minister for the Hunter Linda Burney will be holding a public meeting at Greeta workers club on Sunday, leading up to the opening of the Hunter Expressway.
Starting from 4pm, the meeting will allow residents to have their say on the future of the now economically lucrative area.
Ms Burney will be present to exchange ideas with the community in regards to the future of the area.
