State Labor is accusing the O'Farrell government of failing to act in the spirit of the Gonski reforms after figures revealed funding cuts to schools in the Hunter region.
Electorates where schools will lose needs-based funding in 20-14 include Lake Macquarie with 93-thousand in cuts, Charlestown with 50-thousand and Maitland with 38-thousand dollars lost.
School resources to be restricted with budget cuts would include casual relief.
