NSW recorded 587 new cases and a further eight deaths, including a man in his 20's from Sydney who tested positive to the virus after he died.
The vaccination rates have hit a milestone with 70 per cent of the adult population now fully vaccinated. 89 per cent of adults have had one dose of a COVID vaccine.

A number of COVID exposure sites have been listed overnight including at Thornton, Wallsend, Warners Bay, Marks Point and Cessnock.
Anyone who attended the following venues at the specified dates and times is considered a casual contact and must get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
