A report is being prepared for the Coroner after a woman died in a two car crash at Tea Gardens.
Police say a 64-year-old woman stopped her Nissan Dualis on the shoulder of Pindimar Road near the Myall Way at about 11.30am on Monday when the vehicle was struck by a Subaru Forester.
The woman died at the scene while a 46-year-male driver of the Subaru was freed from the wreckage and flown to the John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.
Anyone with dashcam footage or CCTV is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
