The Hunter has recorded 59 fresh COVID-19 cases.
The new local cases are across the Cessnock, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Newcastle, Mort Stephens and Muswellbrook local government areas.
26 of the new cases were infectious in the community, 40 are linked to existing cases and 22 are being cared for in hospital, including one in ICU.
The Hunter regions total cases for this outbreak currently sits at 1135 since August 5.

STATWIDE
NSW has recorded 623 local cases and is deaths on Monday. Its the lowest daily case numbers for over six weeks.
The vaccination rates are currently at 88.4 per cent first dose and 67.1 per cent double dose.
EXPOSURE SITES
A number of COVID exposure sites have been listed overnight including at Belmont, Muswellbrook and East Maitland.
Anyone who attended the following venues at the specified dates and times is considered a casual contact and must get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
