Firefighters have been recalled to a Housing Commission home at Mount Hutton which has been severely damaged in an overnight fire.
Crews arrived just before 4.00am on Friday to find the Willow Road home well alight.
They took about an hour to douse the flames but were called back at 5.40am after the fire re-ignited in the rear quarter of the house.

Crews are battling a house fire at Mount Hutton.
Firefighters from Tingira Heights and Charlestown were called to Willow Road at 3.50am on Friday to find the weatherboard home fully involved in fire.
Newcastle Fire Command says all occupants have been accounted for and no-one's been injured.
It's believed a candle burning in a bedroom caused the fire.
