There's been a tragic end to the search for a man reported missing at Tomaree Headland.
A member of the public found personal belongings on the headland on Wednesday morning and called police.
A search resumed on Thursday morning and about 11.00am police divers located the body of a man believed to be in his 30's in the water off Tomaree Point.
Police say the man's relatives have been notified and there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A report is being prepared for the Coroner.

A search will resume this morning (Thursday) for a man who's gone missing in the Tomaree National Park at Port Stephens.
Members of the public found unattended personal belongings at the Tomaree Headland at about 11 o'clock on Wednesday morning and called police.
A major search was commenced involving local police as well as officers from the Marine Area Command, the SES and the Ambulance Helicopter but this was called off at 5pm.
