Fire crews are battling a large bushfire at Belmont South.
Firefighters from Belmont were called to Ocean Park Road at about 4am on Monday to a fire burning near the Wastewater Treatment Works.
They've since been joined by a crew from Tingira Heights.
The fire is burning on a 300 metre front in a southwesterly direction through swampland towards Cold Tea Canal.
It's understood no property is under threat.
