Police are renewing their appeal for help to find a missing man from Sydney who they believe could be in the Newcastle area.

49-year-old Samuel Fallshaw was last seen at Penrith Railway Station on Tuesday May 28.

He's described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall with a large build, brown medium-length hair and hazel eyes.

He's known to frequent the Hamilton area and It's believed he was spotted in Newcastle in July.

Appeal Launched To Find Missing Raymond Terrace Man

Police are asking for our help to find a man who's been missing from the Raymond Terrace area since the weekend.

32-year-old Nicholas McFarlane-Thomson was last seen at Glen Oak at about 2.00pm on Saturday July 26.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he has been acting out of character.

Nicholas is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall with a thin build and black hair and was last seen wearing a green shirt, shorts and burkenstock sandals.

He may also be driving a red Mazda 3 with the NSW registration ETL26D.

Nicholas is known to frequent the Raymond Terrace, Maitland and Central Coast areas.

Concerns Held For Autistic Man Missing From Tighes Hill

Police are asking for our help to find a Newcastle man who's been missing for almost a week.

48-year-old Alexander Tumiotto was last seen on Tighes Hill Terrace at Tighes Hill at about 1.30pm on Monday June 30.

Police and family hold concerns for Alexander's welfare as he lives with Autism.

He's described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall with a medium build, unshaven, with dark hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing dirty ripped clothing and a beanie.

Police believe Alexander may be using the rail network to travel and is known to frequent Newcastle, Redfern and the Carriage works at Everleigh.

Police are asking for our help to find a Newcastle man who's been missing for almost four weeks.

41-year-old David Fortune was last seen in Jesmond on June 6 but hasn't been seen or heard from since.

He's known to frequent the Hamilton South, Elermore Vale, Cooks Hill and Newcastle areas.

Concerns are held for the welfare of a 23-year-old man who's been missing from Morisset since the weekend.

Joseph Kew was last seen on Eucalyptus Drive at about 11.00am on Saturday June 21.

There are concerns for his welfare as he lives with medical conditions which require medication.

Joseph's described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall with a medium build, medium length black hair, black beard and moustache.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blocked hooded jumper and black pants.

Joseph is known to frequent the Morisset and Bolwarra Heights areas.

 Police are asking Hunter residents for help to find a man who was last heard from almost 5 months ago.

43-year-old John White was last contacted on the 3rd of January, 2025.

He's known to frequent the Cessnock,  Hunter and Tamworth areas.

John's described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall with a medium build and brown hair.

Lake Macquarie police are appealing for help to locate a man who's gone missing from Mount Hutton.

27-year-old Joshua O'Neill was last seen at about 7.30am on Tuesday and the alarm was raised when he couldn't be contacted or located.

He's described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall with a solid build, light brown hair and a moustache, and has a tattoo on the outside of his right arm.

Joshua was last seen wearing a light grey 'Dickies" brand hooded top and dark blue joggers.

He may be driving a white 2001 Toyota Landcruiser single can utility with the NSW registration BVS 24R.

Fears are growing for the welfare of a man reported missing from Muswellbrook.

41-year-old Robert Baker was last seen in the area at about 2.30pm on Saturday April 19.

Police and family say his disappearance is out of character.

Robert's described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall with a thin build, shaved head, fair complexion, brown eyes with tattoos on his forearms.

Police believe he may have been seen recently in the Hamilton and Newcastle areas.

Police are appealing for information after a man has been reported missing from the Lake Macquarie area.

25-year-old Peter Gorman was last seen leaving a Windale property on April 10 and is known to frequent the Lake Macquarie & Sydney areas.

It's likely he is travelling on public transport.

Concerns are held for Peter’s safety due to his multiple medical conditions.

He's described as being of aboriginal appearance with a large build, shaved head and moustache and was last seen wearing black pants, black NFL Raiders T shirt & black runners.

UPDATE! Fears Growing For Missing Former MP Michael Johnsen

Good news!

A Police spokesperson has confirmed Mr Johnsen has been found safe and well.

EARLIER: 

Fears are growing for the welfare of former Upper Hunter MP, Michael Johnsen, who's been missing from is West Tamworth home since Friday.

The 60-year-old resigned in 2021 following an allegation of sexual assault on a sex worker in the Blue Mountains.

The Director of Public Prosecutions subsequently police there was insufficient evidence to charge the former Nationals MP.

It's believed he was last seen driving a dark grey Toyota Kluger in the vicinity of the Barrington Tops.

There are growing concerns for a man who's been missing in the Lake Macquarie area now for more than a week.

Police say 35-year-old Andrew Dumbrell was last seen at a hospital in Waratah at about 6.50am on Tuesday January 14.

They are concerns for his welfare as he lives with medical conditions which require medication.

Andrew's described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall with a medium build, grey hair and brown eyes.

He's known to frequent the Windale, Warners Bay, Charlestown and Belmont areas.

Police Launch Appeal To Find Man Missing From Boolaroo

Police are appealing for help to find a man missing from Boolaroo, about 20kms west of Newcastle.

Allan Fielding, aged 83, was last seen on Guest Street, Boolaroo, about 11.50am today (Monday 23 December 2024).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District were notified and commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia.

Allan is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build, grey/white hair and unshaven. He has a large tattoo of popeye on his outer left forearm.

He was last seen wearing dark grey shorts, blue striped shirt and blue shoes.

Allan may be driving a white 2019 Subaru Impreza with NSW registration plates CS11EE.

He is known to frequent the Boolaroo, Cardiff and Valentine areas.

UPDATE! Police Re-Issue Appeal For Help To Find Missing Man From Cardiff

A body has been found in the search for a 37-year-old man reported missing two weeks ago in the Cardiff South area.

Police have confirmed a body has been found in the vicinity.

It's yet to be formally identified but is believed to be that of the 37-year-old man.

Initial inquiries suggest the man's death is not being treated as suspicious.

Police are preparing a report for the Coroner.

60-year-old Patrick Murphy, who's known to the Morisset area, was last seen at the Kotara and Awaba train stations.

Concerns are held for his welfare as he suffers from multiple serious medical conditions and is without his medication.

Patrick is described as being Caucasian with grey long hair and a grey beard and was last seen wearing jeans, grey shoes, a white t-shirt and vest.

It's believed he could be travelling by train and has previously travelled to Rutherford, Maitland, Scone and Lismore.

81-year-old Keith Banks was last seen leaving his home on Stewarts Road at Woolooma east of Scone at about 1pm on Monday 11 November, 2024 driving a dark grey Honda sedan with the NSW registration AN 26 CT.

There are serious concerns for Keith's welfare as he lives with dementia and requires medication.

He's described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, with a slim build and grey shoulder length hair.

Search Ramps Up For Missing Man Near Gloucester

A search for man missing near Gloucester is entering it's fifth day.

72-year-old Garry Conwell was last seen on a property at Rookhurst about 20kms from the town last Wednesday morning.

An initial search located Garry's quad bike.

The Hunter's Westpac Rescue helicopter has been supporting ground teams in the search.

Fire & Rescue, RFS and SES teams will commence a major land search from 8.30am on Monday.
