Sometime between 10.30pm, Saturday 23 March and 4.30am, Monday 25 March, an unknown number of people entered a smash repairs business on Griffiths Road and damaged several cars.

The offenders smashed windows, dented panels and spread paint throughout the vehicle’s interiors causing an estimate of more than $150 thousand dollars in damage.

Officers from Newcastle City Police District commenced investigations through Strike Force Nanes and have now released footage of a man they believe can assist with their inquiries.

Police believe more than one person may be involved in the incident.
