Work on a pipeline to supply gas to the proposed power generator at Kurri Kurri is set to start soon.
The APA Group was awarded the $264 million contract for the 21 kilometre pipeline from the main supply line from Sydney, but wasn't able to commence work due to supply chain issues.
The company has now confirmed the pipeline shipment has arrived from overseas.
A pipeline licence is expected to be issued in the next fortnight, allowing major construction work to start.
The company expects to have the work completed in time for the plant to begin operating late next year.
