A man will have a date in court after an early morning crash at Morisset.
Emergency services were called to Dora Street just after 1.00am on Friday where a car had slammed into a power pole.
Police say the 29-year-old man behind the wheel managed to escape serious injury.
However he failed a roadside breath test, allegedly returning a reading of 0.17, more than 3 times the legal limit.
He's expected to front court at a later date charged with high range drink driving.
