A missing elderly woman from the Hunter and her dog have been located safe and well this morning.
The 82-year-old was last seen about 6.20pm yesterday (Sunday 8 November 2020), at her home in Abermain, when she told her husband she was walking the dog.
Following extensive inquiries, she and her Maltese terrier, Susie, was located near Neath about 9.35am today (Monday 9 November 2020), both safe and well.
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.

Hunter Valley police are appealing for public help to find an elderly woman who's gone missing overnight.
82-year-old Joy Morrow was last seen by her husband in the backyard of their Abermain home at about 6.20pm on Sunday before she wandered off with her 13-year-old Maltese terrier called Suzie.
There are concerns for Mrs Morrow's welfare as she suffers from dementia and may appear disoriented or confused.
She's described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 152 cm tall with a solid build, short brown hair and speaks with an Irish accent.
Mrs Morrow was last seen wearing a multi-coloured shirt with 3/4 sleeves, black skirt and slippers.
A search of the area is under way by local police with the assistance of the PolAir helicopter.
