Detectives have released CCTV footage as they continue to investigate an
armed robbery at Lake Macquarie earlier this year.
About 6.15pm on September 27, a 24-year-old man was working at a
bottle shop on Wilsons Road at Mount Hutton, when a man entered the store and
threatened him with a firearm.
He demanded cash before fleeing the scene and was last seen heading east
towards South Street, Windale.
Lake Macquarie Police District established a crime scene and commenced an
investigation.
As inquiries continue, detectives have released CCTV footage of a man who
may be able to assist police with their investigation.
He is described as being between 180cm to 185cm tall, wearing dark clothing,
with his face and hands covered.
