A teenage rider and his pillion passenger have suffered serious injuries in a head-on crash involving two dirt bikes at Raymond Terrace.
Police say two bikes were riding together along Newline Road at about 9.30 last night when one of the riders flipped a u-turn, crashing into the other bike.
A 16-year-old boy suffered a suspected broken leg and arm while his 13-year-old male pillion passenger suffered head injuries.
Both were taken to the John Hunter Hospital.
A 16-year-old boy riding the other bike and his 14-year-old male passenger were not injured.
Police say both riders are likely to be charged with unregistered and dangerous riding.
