A woman disqualified from driving until 2031 has been charged with high range drink driving at Charlestown.
Police say the 58-year-old was spotted by another motorist swerving all over the road yesterday and having trouble getting her Mazda 3 into gear.
The woman was arrested and taken to Belmont Police Station where it's alleged she returned a blood alcohol reading of point 2.
Police say the woman admitted to drinking a bottle of vodka the night before.
It's alleged the woman also produced another person's licence which she'd stolen by opening their mail.
The woman has been charged with High Range PCA (second and subsequent offence), Disqualified Driver (second and subsequent offence) and possession of goods suspected of being stolen.
She's been refused bail to face Belmont Local Court today (Friday 21 February, 2020).
