A man has been taken to hospital with a head wound after an alleged attack in a Mayfield street on Tuesday night.
It's understood the 67-year-old was at a Fitzroy Street home around 11:45pm on Tuesday, before going outside to confront three youths allegedly disturbing the peace.
It's claimed one of the trio hit the man on the head with a brick.
Emergency services took the man to hospital in a stable condition.
Police are calling for information, CCTV, and dashcam footage from the public as they investigate the incident.
