Former Channel 9 sports presenter Cam Williams has pleaded not guilty over a domestic violence incident in the Hunter Valley on the weekend.
He faced Singleton Local Court on Thursday morning, after being arrested around 12:45am on Sunday morning at Cessnock.
It's alleged, the 59-year-old assaulted his wife that same night, the pair staying at a getaway in Howes Valley.
He faces two charges - one of common assault and another of assault causing actual bodily harm.
Police have placed a domestic violence order on Mr Williams, who's expected back in court next January.
The hearing is expected to run for four hours.
