A young woman has been arrested following a bad crash at Wallsend early Thursday morning.
Police say the 21-year-old was driving in her Toyota along Macquarie Street just before 3.00am when she collided with two other vehicles.
Her car then mounted a third vehicle parked on the road.
The woman escaped serious injury and police conducted a roadside breath test which allegedly returned a high range reading.
Police say a subsequent test confirmed a reading of 0.225.
The woman's been charged with High Range PCA and will face Newcastle Local Court on December 1.
