Police say a fire which gutted a home at Speers Point is not being treated as suspicious.
Fire crews from Cardiff, Teralba, Tingira Heights, Toronto and the Hazmat unit from Newcastle were called to the single storey vinyl clad and tile home on Bell Street just after 5.30pm on Wednesday to find the house well alight.
Newcastle Fire Command says all occupants were accounted for and it took just under two hours to fully extinguish and mop up the fire.
The cause of blaze is not yet known.
