Evacuated residents in Dunolly, Glenridding, and Scotts Flat are now advised they can return safely to their homes, as the flood risk subsides.
As of Thursday morning, moderate flooding is still occurring at Singleton, but it's believed waters peaked last night and are now slowly receding.
A number of roads remain closed, including the New England Highway north of Singleton.
