Fire crews have extinguished an early morning shed fire at Nelson Bay.
Firefighters were called to initial reports of an out-of-control bushfire in Talleen Road just after 4.00am on Thursday.
They arrived to find a garden shed on a vacant lot well alight.
It took about 40 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
