Singleton has borne the brunt of a brief but powerful storm which cut a swathe of destruction through the district.
Residents have described yesterday's 10 minute storm as a mini cyclone.
Roofs were torn off 7 homes, while large trees toppled onto sheds, fences and roads.
SES crews were called out to almost 40 jobs.
Singleton, Bulga, Elderslie and Mitchells Flat were among the worst affected areas.
Ausgrid crew are working to restore power to around 400 homes.
