Fire has caused extensive damage to a home at Chain Valley Bay overnight.
Several RFS and Fire and Rescue crews were called to the single level HardiPlank and tile home on Tarwhine Avenue just before 8pm to find the house up in flames.
Newcastle Fire Command says all the occupants were accounted for.
The fire caused extensive damage to the rear of the home and the laundry area.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
