Police are appealing to the public for information after a number of cars were stolen from Wallsend and set alight.
About 2:40am on Tuesday 12 December, two vehicles were stolen from Birchgrove Drive.
The vehicles were a beige Nissan Tida and a Grey Toyota Aurion.
During the theft, the owner of one of the vehicles was injured.
About 3.30am on 12 December, the Nissan Tida was destroyed by fire in Kestrel Avenue at Thornton.
About 1.00am on 13 December, the Toyota Aurion was destroyed by fire in Bengalla Road at Muswellbrook.
