The first electric vehicle charger mounted on a power pole in Australia, has been opened in Newcastle this week.
The charger has been installed by Ausgrid at Dixon Park Beach.
It's the first in a program to deliver 30,000 of the units by 2029, which are faster and cheaper than other options.
