A man has tragically died after a four wheel drive ploughed into the front of his house at Largs,
The 74-year-old had been asleep in the front room of the home at the intersection of High and Morpeth Streets when a Toyota Landcruiser left the road and crashed into the property on Sunday afternoon.
The 69-year-old driver was taken to the John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition after being revived at the scene - Police say he suffered a heart attack prior to the crash.
The 74-year-old was also taken to the John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition but sadly lost his fight for life on Monday afternoon.
A report is being prepared for the Coroner.

Two men have been taken to hospital in a critical condition after a four wheel drive slammed into a house at Largs.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of High and Morpeth Streets around 3pm yesterday where the vehicle had left the road and crashed into the front of the home, causing structural damage.
A 74-year-old man who was asleep in the front room of the home was injured while the driver, a 69-year-old man, had to be revived - both were taken to the John Hunter Hospital..
A crime scene was established and the Toyota taken for forensic examination.
Police believe the driver suffered a heart attack prior to the crash.
