Hunter tourism destinations are being encouraged to apply for a state government grant to help establish an electric vehicle charging network across regional NSW.
Grants ranging from $2,000 to $40,000 per site are available on a co-funded basis to establish charging stations as part of a $171 million investment in EV charging over the next four years.
A range of destinations can apply for the grants, including motels, wineries, cafes, restaurants, natural attractions, visitor information centres, museums and zoos.
