Two Maitland schools have been successful in funding applications for new facilities.
East Maitland Public is receiving just over $64,126 for a multi-sport court space featuring synthetic turf and modified lines for netball, basketball, tennis and volleyball along with necessary equipment.
Maitland Grossman High is receiving $68,900 for a new outdoor fitness circuit with purpose-built equipment.
The money is coming from the state government's $400 million Stronger Country Communities Fund.
