Police are investigating a violent home invasion at Woodberry.
Police say at least 3 people forced entry to a home on Segenhoe Street just after 9.30pm on Thursday and went to the main bedroom where they assaulted a 37-year-old man.
The man's partner, a 46-year-old woman and a second male occupant of the house suffered bruising when a scuffle broke out.
Police say it appears the group were targeting the 37-year-old man, who suffered minor cuts and bruising in the attack.
They say there are no links to a home invasion in the early hours of Thursday morning at Thornton where a 19-year-old man was hit over the head with an iron bar.
