Motorcyclist Killed In 3rd Fatal Hunter Crash This Week

BY IAN CROUCH

There's been another fatality on the Hunter's roads - the 3rd in the space of 24 hours.

A 47-year-old motorbike rider suffered critical head injuries when he collided with a Holden Statesman which was turning off Clarence Town Road into a driveway at Woodville at about 6.00pm last night.

Paramedics worked on the injured man for two hours before he was flown to the John Hunter Hospital - but sadly he passed away.

It comes after 19-year-old Rutherford man, Tim Cox was killed in a single car crash at Bishops Briodge on Wednesday night, while a 63-year-old man died in a head-on crash at Singleton yesterday morning.
