A woman is due to face court next month over a fatal crash which occurred in Raymond Terrace last year.
The 21-year-old women's blue Toyota Corolla was travelling southbound along Richardson Road, and collided with a red Holden Astra travelling in the northbound lane, on the 8th of December 2019, resulting in the death of a 58-year-old man.
The passenger of the Astra, a 62-year-old woman and the 21-year-old woman were both taken to John Hunter Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Following investigations the young woman was arrested yesterday, charged with a number of offences including, driving in a dangerous manner occasioning death, negligent driving, not keeping left of the dividing line and driving with an illicit drug in her system.
She was granted conditional bail to appear at Raymond Terrace Local Court on
Monday the 24th of February 2020.
