UPDATE 1:40pm:
Police believe the teenager wasn't wearing his helmet at the time of the accident at Aberglasslyn.
The teenager aged between 16 and 19 died when the postie bike he was riding collided with a Nissan four-wheel-drive on Budgeree Drive at around 3am this morning.
Police say the postie bike was registered despite earlier reports, and they're still working to identify him.
Anyone with any information about the incident or anyone who may have seen the teenager before the accident is being urged to come forward and contact police.

Police are appealing for information after a teenager was killed in a motorcycle crash at Aberglasslyn.
Inspector Peter Vromans says the young man died at the scene when he crashed his postie bike into the rear of a parked Nissan four-wheel-drive on Budgeree Drive just after 3 o'clock this morning.
"We don't know exactly who the rider was at this stage. We are still trying to identify him. He's believed to be in his mid to late teens. He was wearing a black hoodie and black jeans," he said

Central Hunter Police are investigating a fatal crash at Aberglasslyn.
Emergency services were called to Budgeree Drive just after 3.00am on Friday.
Few details are known at this stage, but it's understood one person died in the crash.
