BY IAN CROUCH

An Adamstown man has been gaoled  over an assault on police and paramedics.

27-year-old Kai James Bradshaw lashed out at emergency services outside the Mary Ellen Hotel at Merewether in August who'd been called to help him after a night of heavy drinking.

Bradshaw was sentenced to a maximum of three years gaol with a non-parole period of one year for spitting in the face of two police officers and kicking two paramedics in the back of the head and stomach.
