The driver at the centre of a widely publicised road rage incident at Sandgate has pleaded guilty in Newcastle Local Court.
47-year-old Branxton man, Shane Nicholson became angry when a P-plate driver in front of him slowed down to 60 kilometres per hour through roadworks on Maitland Road in August, ramming his 4-wheel drive into the side of the other vehicle.
The Herald reports Nicholson handed himself in at Singleton Police Station two days later, telling officers he just "lost it", after video of the incident was uploaded on social media.
He'll be sentenced in Maitland Local Court on October 18.
