A man accused of smashing a windscreen with an axe during a road rage incident at Islington has faced court.
44-year-old Scott Clough from Werris Creek represented himself in Newcastle Local Court on Thursday, pleading guilty to assault, property damage and intimidation charges.
Fairfax reports Mr Clough admitted to damaging the car, telling police he "just snapped" when his victim, Justin Hall didn't drive off from his parking space immediately after returning to his car.
