Hunter motorists heading to the Mid North Coast on the Pacific Highway are being advised to expect delays following a fiery truck crash just north of Kempsey.
Two D-Doubles collided nose-to-tail in the northbound lanes at the Kempsey Bypass just past Old Station Road at about 4.30am on Friday.
Both trucks are on fire, but thankfully the drivers managed to escape unharmed.
It's understood a third truck suffered impact damage in the crash but did not catch fire.
Multiple Fire and Rescue and RFS units are at the scene along with Police, Ambulance and SES crews.
The highway is closed in both directions and diversions are expected to continue for several hours.
