Detectives investigating an indecent assault on an elderly woman at a Charlestown aged care facility have released an image of a man wanted over the attack.
The man in his 60's entered the facility on Dudley Road just before 8.30 on Friday morning the 11th of May and assaulted the female resident aged in her 90's before fleeing.
The woman wasn't injured but was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Following inquiries, police have released a CCTV image of a man they believe can assist them with the investigation.
The man in the image is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 60s, approximately 170cm to 175cm tall, with a slim to medium build and grey hair.
He was wearing a grey jumper with blue across the chest, dark-coloured shorts along with dark socks and joggers.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
