A 16-year-old boy remains in a critical condition in the John Hunter Hospital after a bad crash at Anna Bay last night.
Police say the boy was driving an unregistered Toyota RAV 4 which ran off Gan Gan Road and slammed into a tree just before 7 o'clock.
The teen suffered broken legs, a punctured lung as well as face and chest injuries.
Police hope to speak to him when he's well enough.
